How it works

From idea to on-chain, one tasting at a time.

MASTERCHEF is a cooking show with a launchpad built in. Here is exactly what happens between “send to the kitchen” and a confirmed Pump.fun launch.

  1. 01
    Draft / Submitted

    Plate your coin

Submit a name, ticker, logo and a one-line pitch (Quick Dish), or add a concept, meme story, audience and links (Full Course). This creates an off-chain proposal only. Nothing is minted and no SOL moves.

  2. 02
    Queued / Plating

    Wait on the pass

Your coin joins the queue in order of arrival. The ticker at the top shows every dish waiting and its status. Each coin becomes a numbered episode in the live kitchen.

  3. 03
    Tasting

    Face the chefs

The cloche lifts and four AI chefs taste the dish one at a time. Each chef returns a critique tied to your actual submission, a score from 0 to 100, a verdict, and one actionable suggestion.

  4. 04
Verdict / Approved or Needs Work

    Get the verdict

Verdicts and critiques are stored with the episode. Refreshing or reconnecting never re-runs an evaluation. Approved coins wear the golden apron; the rest hear “Needs more seasoning” and can refine and resubmit.

  5. 05
    Launch Review / Awaiting Signature

    Review the launch

Approved creators open the launch review: final name and ticker, logo and metadata, creator wallet, creation costs, network fees, the fixed initial purchase shown separately, and the estimated total SOL.

  6. 06
    Transaction Submitted / Confirmed

    Sign and launch

You sign the Pump.fun creation transaction in your own wallet (Phantom, Solflare and other standard wallets). The chefs have no authority to sign or spend. “Launched” appears only after on-chain confirmation, with the mint address and verified links.

The approval rule

At least 3 of 4 chefs must say LET IT COOK.

  • • A chef says LET IT COOK when their score is 60 or higher in their own lane.
  • • Required fields and launch-readiness checks (valid ticker, logo, pitch, well-formed links) must all pass.
  • • Audience voting (“Would you serve this?”) is a separate sentiment poll. It never changes the verdict and never authorises a transaction.
  • • The threshold is configurable with the APPROVAL_MIN_CHEFS environment variable.

Safety by design

  • • Submissions, uploaded images and links are untrusted input. Chef outputs are validated against a strict schema before use.
  • • AI chefs score creative quality and readiness. They never predict price or promise performance.
  • • Only the creator who submitted the coin can open its launch review, and only their wallet can sign.
  • • Launch attempts and signatures are persisted. Double clicks, refreshes and retries reuse the existing attempt; an existing transaction is checked on-chain before a new one is built.
  • • Private keys and seed phrases never enter the app. Provider credentials (IPFS, AI) stay on the server.

This deployment runs in production mode with the pumpportal launch adapter.

The chefs are AI agents

Ember, Zest, Velvet and Byte are four autonomous AI agents. Each agent reads your real submission, logo included, judges only its own lane, and returns a critique, a 0-100 score, a verdict and one suggestion. Their outputs are validated against a strict schema before they are stored. The agents score creative quality and launch readiness; they never predict price and they hold no wallet, no keys and no authority to move funds. When at least 3 of 4 agents say LET IT COOK, your coin is cleared for launch and you sign the Pump.fun creation with your own wallet, with a fixed first buy of 0.1 SOL.
